Three Day Workshop NOW OPEN
Create this Contemporary Sculpture totem to enjoy in your home or spring garden  You will learn basic clay hand building skills designing and shaping elements for your garden totem. Your design could be all organic nature forms or be based on a stylized animal, fish or birds. It’s up to you. You are encouraged to keep open mind while to trying new hand building techniques for the totem. We will guide you and try to help you with some inspiration along the way. We will get a chance to try new things and get your hands dirty, while our instructor helps you to make your own unique sculpture. We provide everything you need. All you have to do is come ready to have a good time, and remember to wear clothes that can get dirty (this includes shoes).

• What you will get: All materials including clay; Installation Base pole, under glaze / staining & select glazes on day 3,  bisque and glaze firings are included in cost. 
• What to bring: Wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting messy. If you cut your fingernails short, it will be helpful for you. bring a towel, remove jewelry from fingers and wrists as the clay can cause damage.
• This is a three-day workshop: some clay prior experience is helpful but not necessary .
• Short Break for socializing and snacks.

This workshops is open to only 8 participants.   Ages 21 and up 

Friday  Feb 28th  6:30 – 9:00 pm
Saturday March 1st  10 – 1:00pm  + extra half hour worktime available if necessary.
Saturday March 15th  10 – 12:00pm glazing day

BYOT (Small TOWEL) is required.
