Sculpture Workshop Raven / Bird Clay Sculpture
You will learn basic hollow form sculpting and clay hand building skills, shaping ,texture and fundamental elements for your Bird sculptures. Your final design could change or differ than the step by step lead process as your sculpture takes on it’s own personality. This is based on the narrative exposed by positioning of the head, wings , size/proportions, and elements of facial expression. It’s up to you. We will work to complete 1 sculpture ranging around 8 -11 inches.
You are encouraged to keep an open mind to trying new hand building techniques used for clay sculpture. We will guide you through the techniques and try to help you with some inspiration of narrative sculpture.
