Three Day Workshop
This workshops is open to only 6 participants.
Ages 21 and up

Get ready for your spring garden by making our own unique garden totem or ornament home marker. You will learn basic clay hand building skills designing and shaping elements for your garden totem. Your design could be organic nature forms or be based on sea animal, birds and bees. It’s up to you. You are encouraged to keep open to trying new hand building techniques for the totem. We will guide you and try to help you with some inspiration along the way. We will get a chance to try new things and get your hands dirty, while our instructor helps you to make your own unique sculpture. We provide everything you need. All you have to do is come ready to have a good time, and remember to wear clothes that can get dirty (this includes shoes).
- What you will get: All materials including clay; Installation pole, under glaze/staining on day 3 and (Thom’s spraying clear glaze) and firing are included in cost.
- What to bring: Wear old clothes that you don’t mind getting messy. If you cut your fingernails short, it will be helpful for you. bring a towel, remove jewelry from fingers and wrists as the clay can cause damage.
- This is a three-day workshop: and some clay prior experience is helpful.
- Short Break for Coffee, Tea & Snacks provided.
The workshop will be held Monday, Weds. & Fri. / April 17,19 & 21st. / 12-3/3:30 pm class time + extra half hour worktime daily available if necessary.
