July Clay Kids Camp 2025

July Clay Kids Camp ( Ages 8 -12) We will explore the basics of clay hand-building  in this week long clay Camp. techniques: pinch, coil, and slab and clay sculpting.  In addition to focusing on clay pottery hand building we will explore texture and form along with glaze applications will be explored at end of week. We will spend a day along the creek sculpting along with our weekly natural objects handcrafted miniature raft race. Approximately 4-6+ clay pieces will be completed to be picked up at a later date.

• Clay Kids students will be spending the majority of the camp time indoors and Thursday sculpting along the creek side. Also dress for play as clay is Messy/Muddy. We are accepting new dents with some clay experience for Pottery Camps. Kids ages 8-12.
• Previous Pottery experienced is not necessary.
• Campers can bring a personal water bottle and small individual snack as we will take a break for hydration and some good conversation.
• Limited to 12 students which have some or no previous pottery experience. But art class /camp experience or strong art background is helpful for camp enjoyment.
