Saturday Give It A Spin Pre Valentine’s Date Night 
Get a little dirty on your next date night! Couples, who want something different on their Valentine’s date are welcome to join us at Artyard Studio for an evening of fun, romance and throwing on the potter’s wheel. We want you to learn what it takes to throw a pot, but it’s just as important to us that you have a good experience. We will get a chance to try out a potter’s wheel and get your hands dirty, while our instructor helps you to make your own unique pot. All you have to do is come ready to have a good time, and remember to wear clothes that can get dirty (this includes shoes). Ages 21 and up – this class is BYOB, BYO snack & laid back.

• • Each participant will have the opportunity to create items on the wheel in stoneware clay such as wine tumbler, mugs and bowls. Your work will be glazed and fired and ready for pick up in a few weeks.
• Bring a camera phone if you like and we’ll take some pictures for you.
• This is one night to try out pottery date, beginners welcomes and encouraged!
• Trimmed nails make for better pots.
• Wear clothes that you don’t mind getting dirty. BYOT (hand TOWEL) is required.
• This nights registration is for couples only so that all attending feel comfortable.

Keep in mind that wheel throwing is a challenging craft and making something your first time is not a sure thing, but it is tons of fun to give it a go and we are here to help. Price is for one couple’s class only, you making one pot per person.  Our staff will complete the job – trimming, bisque firing and glaze firing one pot per person.  (You may order firing of more pots for a nominal fee $15.)

• Class sizes are kept small for your attention.  Due to limited capacity and high demand, cancellations must be confirmed 19 days prior to class start date so we can fill the spot ( see studio policies). Refunds will not be given after that.  We are a small studio, so we greatly appreciate your understanding.Fired pottery will be available in 3 to 5 weeks for pickup. Work that is left at the studio past three months will be disposed of.

Ages 21 and up – this class is BYOB, light fare & laid back.
